Is Blogging Dead?

Have you ever seen someone online claiming that blogging is dead? Maybe they tried to start a blog but didn’t succeed.

But I’m here to tell you that blogging is not dead. If it were, why are you reading my blog posts?

Why do people say blogging is dead?

One of the biggest reasons people claim blogging is dead is because social media platforms have exploded in popularity. Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube have created quick, easy ways to share ideas, images, and videos with audiences.

They’re quick, engaging, and give us instant content at the swipe of a finger. With the rise of these platforms, many people feel like blogging has become outdated. After all, why spend time reading a long post when you can watch a 30-second video?

Such questions always come to mind. But it’s true that we can easily watch news and media within just 30 seconds.
Yet people still come to read long blog posts to learn new things.

Is Blogging Dead in My Opinion?

Honestly? Not at all! Both can exist.

Blogs that offer valuable information and truly help people; these types of blogs will never die.

However, websites that are not informative and are in their infancy will quickly die.

Should I Start Blogging?

Yes, I think you should start blogging. When you start writing a blog, you will begin to learn many things like SEO, marketing, improving your writing skills, expanding your knowledge, and so on.

With these skills, you can start making money. Maybe it will take a lot of time, but it will work.

From this startup, you will make mistakes 100 times. But you will understand what you should and shouldn’t do.

Maybe you’re thinking, “I’m not a good writer, I don’t have the skills.” My advice? Just write! Write like me. With practice, you’ll get there. Start with a topic you love or know well.

Even if you lose interest in writing blogs, you can simply sell your website on Flippa.
